WWA Mentorship Program
Washington Waterfowl Association understands it can be a challenge to get into waterfowl hunting. We are pleased to offer Mentorship Program that matches WWA members new to waterfowl hunting with more experienced members.
For New Hunters Getting into waterfowl hunting can be a challenge! Are you new to hunting waterfowl, or just new to Washington? Unsure of where to go or how to go about it? WWA members can capitalize on our Mentorship Program and become a mentee! We do our best to connect you to a member who is as near to you as possible who will also do their best to take you out and show you the ropes. | For Experienced Hunters Share the rich heritage of Washington’s waterfowl hunting tradition and help welcome our newest hunters into the field. The Washington Waterfowl Association is seeking committed volunteers to mentor new waterfowl hunters during the upcoming season. We ask each mentor to commit to two or three mentored hunts with a new hunter. Your experience, patience, and passion can make a lasting impact on someone just beginning their journey in the marsh. |
We are currently organizing the Mentorship Program for the 2026-2027 waterfowl season and are seeking to match mentees with mentors. If you’re wanting to be a mentee and learn waterfowling here in Washington, or are wanting to be a mentor who is ready to help make this season special for our newest members, please contact:
